"I not stupid 2" One of the best movie I ever seen !!! Die DIe Die must watch with your parents !!!

I Not Stupid Too is a comedy keenly centred on the theme of increasingly difficult relationships between parents and their children today, due to a lack of communication. More than often, parents think they understand their children, based on the reasoning of I-gave-birth-to-you-so-I-know. But do they really? A child is most vulnerable at teen years, which is without doubt the most crucial period in the development of the child. A single wrong move by the parents can result in a lifetime of regrets. How well aware are the parents of this fact?
Set in Singapore’s fast-paced modern society, the narrative progresses through the eyes of 9-year-old Jerry as he and his older brother, Tom, face the pressures of school and demands of their wealthy but ever-bickering parents.
Along also for the ride is Tom’s friend, Cheng Cai, who is often misunderstood by his teacher at school, and whose own predicament with his single hawker-stall owning father reveals the film’s deep concern with the generation gap between its characters.
Through Tom and Cheng Cai, the film also delves into juvenile delinquency as a result of this breakdown in communication, while Jerry simultaneously runs around trying to get his parents to attend his upcoming performance in school.
Multi-faceted, insightful and highly entertaining, I Not Stupid Too features a large cast of talented actors and a delightful story every Singaporean can relate to.

Wednesday went to Bugis to watch "I not stupid 2" with my mum and sis. Tried to get the 4pm show, but no space for 3 in a row, so got the 630pm tickets. SInce it was still long before screening, went to eat early dinner. We went opposite to Bugis Village to try a ramen resturant. We ordered dumpling ramen, mushroom ramen , suan la ramen and shui jing bao. The food not bad, the ramen was so much that I could not finish.
AFter watching this show, felt this was a better movie, talking about the relations between parents and their children nowadays. Part 1 was more funny, though part 2 had some funny scenes, it was more serious and alittle sad.
This was the first movie I ever seen with my mother and sister in around 10yrs. The last movie where we watched as a family was "The Mask" i think I in primary school.
Movies watched with parents
1) Chicken Duck Talk( Don't know the actual title, very old comedy)
2) Beauty and the Beast (My mom and neighbour Andy)
3) The Mask (Last movie with the whole family)
...
Around 10 years later "I not stupid 2" (Mom and sister).
Funny scene
When the younger brother slept with the small girl, they thought the small girl was pregnant LOL !!!
When the gang was "marching" as the theme song played.
Sad scenes
When the boys joined gangs, stole , fought in school ... disappointed their parents.
When Cheng Cai's father (Wang Yi LIang) died trying to protect his son.
When Jack Neo and his son risked going jailed because his son robbed from the old lady, and he willing to take up the rap for his son.
Rating 6/5 Die die die must watch
